The series began in 1995 with Pixar writer, director, animator, and co-creator John Lasseter’s short film about a lonely toy cowboy. The Toy Story is about a group of anthropomorphic toys who pretend to be lifeless whenever humans are present. It focuses on the life of a lonesome cowboy doll named Woody and a modern spaceman figure named Buzz Lightyear as they evolve from rivals competing for the affections of their owner Andy, to friends who work together to be reunited with him after being separated from him.

After several incidents where the toys were almost being thrown out by accident or being donated to a daycare center, or just being plain forgotten about, the toys managed to be together again with the help of a little girl named Bonnie.

Toy Story 4 focuses on Woody now as a hands-on parent for his new kid Bonnie and how he deals with his being co-mother to a new kid. There are so many life lessons that this film can teach us all.
